The proposal seeks to find a specific development scheme, one that is different, more attractive and adequate to the magnificent conditions of the place. Unlike the residential blocks built to date, the volumes are positioned separately yet, although there is free space between them, they still delimit the edges of the urban block. The dwellings are arranged around an open garden and can be alternatively oriented towards this space, with views to the mountains or to receive the mid-day sun. This shape combines the best of the urban block whilst it also embraces the air and freshness characteristic of open block dispositions.
The interior garden, with big scale trees and autochthonous and emblematic vegetation, creates a fresh and humid landscape that varies greatly with the seasons. The space adapts smoothly to the topography of the site and incorporates an oasis area with a swimming pool and another zone dedicated to playgrounds. Dwellings of different sizes and layouts are arranged around this recreational area, sharing a common character. Their distribution is extremely rational and strictly modulated to create generous and versatile spaces that offer diverse use possibilities and options for furniture arrangements.
