Camino de Santiago from France, A Coruña

Near the Alto do Outeiro, the project offers a rest for the pilgrim so that, after sitting under the shade and soaking his/her feet in fresh water, he/she might arrive lighter to Santiago. We suggest this stopover set in two planes, one terrestrial and one celestial like El Camino. The first describes the footsteps and the other the senses. The proposal is built with perpetual materials from Ferreiros and so, water, iron, granite and vines surround and comfort the pilgrim with shade, sound, freshness and food. The overlapping layers shape two grapevines, two seats under the shade, two fountains, two footbaths and two footpaths: one over the water and one under a raised vegetal granary overflying El Camino.
